Owner's Manual for use with Garmin eTrex 10, 20, 30

necessary explanations:

file gmapbmap.img (basemap) has a null size, it is replaced by a user map with the same name

file gmaptz.img (time zones map) has a null size, it generally can be removed to save storage memory

file position.gpx (current GPS position) has a null size, it is overwritten at every reliable determination of the location. It is "hidden" by the manufacturer, this attribute is demonstratively cleared.

file fs_image.ver is set as "hidden" and "read only" by the manufacturer, these attributes are demonstratively cleared.

file russian.gtt is necessary to display Russian menu and Cyrillic fonts. If you have no need of this feature in your Garmin Etrex 10, simply left the directory //Garmin/Text empty
